#92: Aayla Secura

Welcome back to the Happy Beeps 100, where we count down and analyze the 100 most popular Star Wars characters, vehicles and locations!

For #92 in the Happy Beeps 100, we spend time with a character who made the unique journey from comics to the movies to merchandise to TV and back again - Aayla Secura!!  In June 2000, a blue-skinned Twi'lek appeared on the cover of issue 19 of Dark Horse's Star Wars comic.  George Lucas was so taken with the character that she was incorporated into the climactic Battle of Geonosis at the end of Episode II: Attack of the Clones, after which Aayla received her first action figure from Hasbro.  She continued to feature in Clone Wars content in the Legends, era, including her own one-shot, Star Wars: Jedi - Aayla Secura, where she faced off against #98 in the Happy Beeps 100, Aurra Sing.  From there, Aayla was featured in the Revenge of the Sith, where she met a brutal end during Order 66, as well as the Clone Wars TV show.

Aayla has 5 standard scale action figures from Hasbro, including her latest from the original Vintage Collection in 2010.  Two reduced-scale figures from the Unleashed line, two Lego minifigs, one full sized figurine (also from the Unleashed line), as well as a Funko Pop! and a Disney Tsum Tsum.  Happy Hunting!!
